<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle device and a communication device capable of reducing a burden in designing an electronic control unit connected to an in-vehicle LAN arranged on a vehicle, restraining cost and preventing early consumption of a battery, etc. <P>SOLUTION: A processing part 120 used as the electronic control unit to carry out an electronic control process concerning the vehicle and a communication control part 110 to control communication with other devices loaded on the vehicle are separated from each other.
