PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery housing device capable of preventing degradation of battery performance in a simple structure. SOLUTION: In the battery housing device 16 for housing a battery 6 fitted in an electronic equipment with a top lid capable of opening and closing, by providing a protruded part 33 integrally displacing with an opening and closing movement of the top lid and a pressing means for making the battery housed in a battery holder move in sliding in engagement with the protruded part at an opening or a closing movement of the top lid, a plus terminal 18 and a plus electrode 6b of the battery as well as a minus terminal 17 and a minus electrode 6a can be made to rub in interlocking with the opening and closing movement of the top lid, by the above, the corrosion of the terminals and the electrodes can be effectively prevented by removing oxide or the like adhering to the terminals and the electrodes, and thus the battery housing device capable of preventing degradation of battery performance in a simple structure, can be realized.
