PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal capable of observing a manner in a public facility, preventing surreptitious photographing for privacy protection, and the prevention of digital shoplifting at a bookstore or the like. SOLUTION: In the mobile terminal incorporating a receiver 10 for receiving a control signal from an external device, the receiver 10 is provided with: a reception means for receiving the control signal; a demodulation means for demodulating the control signal received by the reception means; a control means for controlling a signal processing section of the receiver on the basis of a signal demodulated by the demodulation means; and a function limit means for limiting functions of the receiver on the basis of the control signal.
