PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor having high total thermal insulation efficiency and reliability, in a wide pressure operation range. SOLUTION: A back surface discharging pressure range for adding discharging pressure is provided on a back surface of a mirror plate of a scroll member. The area of the back surface discharging pressure range is structured to have a value between the maximum value and the minimum value of an area made by adding a projecting area viewed from an axial direction of a discharging chamber which is a range communicating with a discharging system during compressing action wherein a compressing chamber and the discharging system are not communicated by a controlling bypass and put between both the mirror plates, and a half of teeth areas of both scroll lap portions forming a border between the discharging chamber and the compressing chamber surrounding the discharging chamber.
