PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trap for waste liquid capable of treating miscellaneous bacteria in air and waste liquid and having excellent hygiene. SOLUTION: In this trap 1 for waste liquid provided interiorly with the trap 3 having substantially U-shape, storing and holding proper amount of waste liquid in a bottom part when discharging not waste liquid in a vessel made of synthetic resin and capable of being stably loaded on a floor surface by making a bottom face flat, and letting waste liquid flow into the vessel by floating a normally closed check valve 2 when discharging waste liquid and a valve device 4 opened when amount of waste liquid exceeding fixed amount is stored in the vessel by flowing out of the trap 3 to discharge waste liquid to the outside of the vessel, at least either of the trap 3, the valve device 4, and the vessel made of synthetic resin is provided with an antibacterial treating part.
