PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering support structure having high space efficiency and reducible in weight without needing to provide a storage case for storing a steering force transmission mechanism requiring requested rigidity, as a separate member. SOLUTION: A front end part 27b of a steering column part 27 supported by a steering member 23 extended along a vehicle cross direction is connected abutting on a side face part 23a of the steering member 23 from the rear part of the vehicle so as to present approximately T-shape from the top view. A storage case part 26 of the steering force transmission mechanism 32 for mechanically transmitting the rotation of a steering wheel 7 to steer wheels is used as a part of the steering member 23.
