POWER SUPPLY DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for vehicle which prevents a traction battery from over-discharging and can warm up the traction battery when outside or ambient air temperature is low.

SOLUTION: The power supply device for vehicle comprises: a traction battery 50 to drive a motor for traction of a vehicle; a heater 40 to warm up the traction battery 50 to a setting temperature; a control circuit 60 to control power supply to the heater 40; a temperature sensor 51 to detect a battery temperature and to output a detected temperature signal to the control circuit 60; and an ambient temperature sensor 52 to detect an ambient temperature of the traction battery 50 and to output a detected ambient temperature signal to the control circuit 60; where the control circuit 60 changes the setting temperature corresponding to the detected ambient temperature when the heater 40 warms up the traction battery 50 by using the electric power of the traction battery 50 with the vehicle not tractioned.
