COOLANT CONTROLLER, PLATE PROFILE CONTROLLER AND FLATNESS CONTROLLER FOR ROLLING MILL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coolant controller for rolling mills with which the accuracy of a plate profile or flatness is improved by coolant control increasing control increment.

SOLUTION: The coolant controller for the rolling mills consists of a plurality of coolant nozzles and coolant valves for turning them ON/OFF in the direction of a roll barrel and, in equipment which is provided with a roll coolant for cooling the rolling rolls and a bite coolant for supplying lubricating oil to roll bites and with which a steel sheet or the like is rolled, a coolant level controller 46 which is composed of a first arithmetic unit 40 for proportioning/integrating a signal on the basis of the deviation of the sheet profile or the flatness of a rolled stock rolled with the rolling mill and a second arithmetic unit 41 for converting the output of the first arithmetic unit into ON/OFF level in the coolant control and controlling all the coolant valves in the direction of the roll barrel of the roll coolant and/or the bite coolant.
