PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor mat capable of deciding a fixing position and leading to stability of quality in mounting the floor mat on a central floor panel and to provide its mounting method. SOLUTION: This floor mat mounted on the central floor panel of a cab floor of a cab-over type truck is provided with a lever bracket and a lower bracket for mounting a center console box previously mounted on the central floor panel, a pair of left and right lever assemblies mounted on the lever bracket and to support a shift tower of an automatic transmission and an opening part inserted through a wire insertion hole open to the lower bracket and the central floor panel and corresponding to a control wire temporarily fixed on the back surface side of the central floor panel from the shift tower, wherein the opening part is formed of first and second divided opening parts adjacent to each other with a connecting piece between them, a slit free to connect and disconnect to and from the connecting piece through a connecting and disconnecting member is provided and both of the divided opening parts are free to change over to a communicated state and a divided state by operation of the connecting and disconnecting member.
