<p>The use of adhesive tape (A), finished on one side with pressure-sensitive adhesive, is claimed as a deaerating tape, to be adhered over an opening in an enclosed chamber in which the air pressure is higher than that in the surrounding environment, where (i) (A) consists of a carrier with a hot melt adhesive mass applied on one side, (ii) the air permeability is more than 30 cm 3>/(cm 2>.s) at the carrier side, (iii) (A) is perforated with hot needles (preferably on a needled roller) and (iv) the number of holes is at least 5 per sq. cm.</p> |
