Aqueous formulation comprising TFPI and solubilizing agents

Aqueous formulations of TFPI (tissue factor pathway inhibitor) include L-arginine and/or a solubilising agent selected from the group consisting of: an acetate ion; a sulfate ion; sodium chloride; a citrate ion; an isocitrate ion; glycine; glutamate; a succinate ion; histidine; imidazole; sodium dodecyl sulfate; or a charged polymer. The invention facilitates the solubilization, formulation, purification and refolding of TFPI.
