PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canned motor pump which is operated without any trouble even when heat radiating capacity is increased and even under a sever external atmosphere condition, and compactly constructed. SOLUTION: A canned motor pump 10 is formed that a rotor 24 of a motor part 18 has a given gap S between an outer ring part 36 and an inner ring part 38. A heat slinger 48 is mounted on the release end of a can 24 in a state to be opposed to an axial direction, and the heat slinger makes direct contact with liquid from a pump part 20. The gap of a rotor is provided by extending a radiating protrusion part 58 of the heat slinger 48 and the radiating protrusion part also makes direct contact with liquid from the pump part. When a control circuit element part 50 situated on the surface side of the heat slinger generates heat, the heat is radiated to liquid through the heat slinger and radiated to liquid also through the radiating protrusion part. Radiating capacity is increased and cooling performance is improved. Liquid in the gap flows along with rotation of the rotor, and the radiating nature of the radiating protrusion part is improved.
