PROCESSING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING CHARACTERISTIC OF COMBUSTION RESIDUE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing system and a method for improving a characteristic of a combustion residue without consuming a large quantity of energy, and without largely adding equipment.

SOLUTION: This processing system has combustion equipment for forming main ash by sintering and/or melting the combustion residue by raising the temperature of the generated combustion residue by combustion control by burning fuel on a fire grate, a dry ash pushing-out device for discharging the main ash from the combustion equipment, a separator for classifying the completely sintered main ash and an unmelted or unsintered residue, and a line for returning the unmelted or unsintered residue to the combustion equipment.
