PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile imaging apparatus with a supervisory function that can be manufactured at low cost. SOLUTION: A flowchart of supervisory processing of the imaging apparatus includes: a step S10 of reading reference distance data D0 from an internal memory 52; a step S12 of reading a sensitivity level L; a step S14 of reading distance data D1 received from a distance sensor 30; a step S16 of obtaining a difference S between the reference distance data D0 and the distance data D1; a step S18 of comparing the difference S with a reference value in terms of quantity depending on the sensitivity level L so as to discriminate whether or not an intruder exists. When the discrimination in the step S18 is affirmative, since it means that a door is moved and there exists an intruder for opening the door, a speaker 22 outputs an alarm sound in a step S20.
