PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a predistorter which compensates a distortion generated with an amplifier 2 by inputting a signal to be inputted into the amplifier 2 to be compensated for distortion and giving beforehand the distortion to the input signal. SOLUTION: An amplifier replica means 11 has the same input/output characteristics as the input/output characteristics of the amplifier 2 or the input/output characteristics to approximate the amplifier 2 and inputs a signal and outputs it. A difference detection means 12 detects a difference between the input signal to a predistorter 1 and an output signal from the amplifier replica means 11. An amplifier replica input signal change means 13 changes the signal inputted to the amplifier replica means 11 so that the difference detected by the difference detection means 12 becomes small.
