<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female connector in which a risk of being suddenly disconnected from a male connector after being connected with the male connector is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The female connector is composed of: a cylindrical core member 1 having a lure taper formed on the inner surface of the distal end, a tube connection part 9 formed on the inner surface of the proximal end, and at least one projecting part 3 or a recessed part 11 formed on the outer surface of the cylinder part; and a cylindrical housing 2 which has a male screw 8 formed on an outer surface and a circular recessed part 4 or a circular projecting part 10 corresponding to the projecting part 3 or the recess part 11 and formed on the inner surface of the cylinder part, and which is mounted without being fixed to the outer periphery of the core member 1.
