PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the simply structured merchandise display device of a vending machine for stably holding and exhibiting solid merchandise samples, and for exhibiting advertising units instead of solid merchandise samples. SOLUTION: This merchandise exhibition device of the vending machine is provided with a merchandise exhibition rack for arranging and exhibiting a plurality of solid merchandise samples, one or more partition boards installed so as to be protruded on the upper face of the merchandise exhibition rack for dividing the placing region of the solid merchandise samples on the merchandise exhibition rack and a slide integrally formed with the partition boards, and installed at the lower part of the merchandise exhibition rack reciprocatively in the lengthwise direction of the merchandise exhibition rack for saving the partition boards from the upper face of the merchandise exhibition rack when it is positioned at the backward position.
