PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor capable of realizing small hardware while meeting variable threshold matrices of various cycles. SOLUTION: The image processor is provided with a halftone processing means 104 for comparing a quantization threshold which varies in the repetition of an arbitrary cycle, with the total of data resulting from adding an error in the case of ambient quantization to input data with arbitrary weighting, wherein the halftone processing means 104 includes: a plurality of tables 207-209 each for storing a quantization threshold downloaded from a data storage means 102; and a selection means 203 which has a control signal for controlling a table reference position and selects any one of the plurality of tables, and (n) (n>=2) tables are linked and referred as one table.
