摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imager capable of improving an S/N ratio while suppressing noise, preferably making stable and rapid motion photography and suppressing dark current, and to provide its control method. SOLUTION: Each pixel has a photoelectric conversion element S1(1-1) or the like, a first transistor T1(1-1) or the like of a source follower type, a second transistor T2(1-1) or the like which comes into a conductive state when an electric signal is read from a pixel selected in row by a shift register SR1 and output to a reading circuit portion 2, and a third transistor T3(1-1) or the like which comes into a conductive state when the photoelectric conversion element provided in the pixel selected in row by the shift register SR1 is reset. A bias power source 3 for applying bias for photoelectric conversion to the photoelectric conversion element, and a reset power source 4 for applying reset bias to the element, are provided inside the reading circuit portion 2.
