PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signature dividing mechanism stabilizing a number system of divided signature and to provide a stacker bundler provided with it, and a printing machine. SOLUTION: This signature dividing mechanism is provided with a number detection means 46 for detecting the number of a pair of signatures F3 having a part overlapped like slices of raw fish and moving on a fifth conveyance conveyor 45, a stopper mechanism 47 for inserting the pair of signatures F3 moving on the fifth conveyance conveyor 45 into an overlapped part of the pair of signatures F3 from above the pair of signatures F3 to dam them up at a dam-up position based on the result of detection of the number detection means 46, and a controller 11 for controlling driving of the stopper mechanism 47 based on the result of detection by the number detection means 46.
