<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method which enables the detection of a very small amount of protein in an electrophoretic gel incapable of being visually confirmed in a CBB dyeing capable of visually confirming protein and the enhancement of the reliability of analysis due to a mass analyzer or the like by enabling the combined use with visual confirmation at the time of delivery of a sample. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for detecting protein as a fluorescent image, the protein subjected to electrophoresis on a gel is dyed with Coomassie Brilliant Blue and the dyed protein is irradiated with exciting light having a wavelength of 600 nm or above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
