CONNECTION ELEMENT FOR CONNECTING IGNITION PLUG TO IGNITION COIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely facilitate handling, and securely and tightly connect or couple an ignition plug to an ignition coil by improving a connection element to connect the ignition plug to the ignition coil.

SOLUTION: This connection element connects the ignition plug 10 to the ignition coil 12 provided with an ignition coil housing 14. The connection element comprises a receiving chamber 16 for a connection pin 18 of the ignition plug 10. The contact element 20 is disposed in the receiving chamber 16 for electrically contacting and connecting the connection pin 18 of the ignition plug 10 to the ignition coil 12. At least one partial range of the ignition coil housing 14 and at least a partial range of the ignition plug 10 adjoining the first partial range are enclosed with insulation elastic material 22.
