PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring system of an elevator using a public radio communication network inexpensively without impairing design property when using a steel plate member in an indicator box. SOLUTION: A signal receiving part 4h2b of a radio communication machine 7 connecting the remote monitoring system with the public radio communication network is arranged in a landing call button 4h provided in a landing place of the elevator.
