PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable frame which achieves excellent portableness and housing performance and is favorably used, for example, as the frame of the mahjong table, the frame of the reflection plate in the shooting with the cameraes and the shading frames for the automobiles and the windows of the houses. SOLUTION: In the foldable frame 2, four corners of the square frame body 2A comprising four bar-like pieces 2a-2d are linked together so as to be folded freely through hinges 10 and 11. One set of two of the first and second hinges 10 and 10 is so arranged as to make the two corners in the one diagonal direction M of the frame body 2A foldable freely about the axis parallel with the diagonal direction M while one set of two of the second hinges 11 and 11 is so arranged as to make the remaining two corners in the other diagonal direction N foldable freely about the axis orthogonal to the diagonal direction N. The frame body 2A is bent in two centering around the first hinges 10 and 10 and further done centering around the second hinges 11 and 11 so that the four bar-like pieces 2a-2d are folded compact to be kept neatly parallel with each other.
