PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the fraudulence by the vicious players without making the players feel discomfort during the games. SOLUTION: In the locking device 15 for the game machine 11, a lock metal 35 of an open/close carried frame 13 openably supported on the base frame 12 is made to engage a lock receptacle metal 37 of the base frame 12 so that the open/close carried frame 13 is held being closed on the base frame 12. The lock metal 35 is provided with a hook member 44 tiltable vertically while the lock receptacle metal 37 is provided with a lock receiving part 81 made to let the hook member 44 be engaged therewith and a longitudinal displacement member 103 which can be displaced longitudinally to contact the hook member 44 within a longitudinal clearance 100 formed between the lock receiving part 81 and the hook member 44.
