PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which can reduce time required for recording image rotations and costs, and to provide a recording system provided with it. SOLUTION: When recording a rotation image that an original image is rotated, a data transfer circuit 13 transfers original image data stored in a storage 12 in the state that an address is assigned for every dot data, to a head exciting circuit 7 by one dot for every the dot data, and adds or subtracts N (natural number other than one) to or from the address for dot data to be transferred next for every transfer of the dot data by one dot.
