PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an erroneous position-detecting operation caused by the output offset of a magnetic sensor due to the downsizing of a photographic lens, and to realize a lens drive device which is operated with low power. SOLUTION: Since a composition ratio between a position signal output and a command signal can be set stepwise in accordance with the output offset of the magnetic sensor, the lens drive device easily copes with the downsizing of imaging lens and imaging lenses of different sizes. In addition, since a P-type MOS transistor and an N-type MOS transistor are used in the output stage of a drive circuit, the need for base current required for a bipolar type transistor, and a power source and a current source for base terminal drive is eliminated, a power reduction is made possible.
