PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker in which a trip bar is supported by both frames while a rotation angle of the trip bar can be freely set without restriction and the strength of the trip bar is fully secured. SOLUTION: When the trip bar 6 (11) is inserted into a circular bearing holes 7b and 8b and both frame boards 7 and 8 having notches 7c and 8c with widths narrower than inside diameters of the bearing holes 7b and 8b, an end except for an almost central portion of the trip bar 6 (11) is formed into a thin portion which is narrower than widths of the notches 7c and 8c. After the thin portion is inserted into the notches 7c and 8c, a supporting portion 6c (11c) composed of a cylindrical shaft of the almost central portion of the trip bar 6 (11) is moved in parallel to a position where it is pivotably supported by the bearing holes 7b and 8b.
