PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring a chemical substance, capable of specifying a kind of the chemical substance (in particular, a gas mixture under measurement environment) by a simple system, and capable of simultaneously determining each concentration (in particular, trace concentration) in the chemical substance. SOLUTION: This method of measuring the chemical substance includes a process of synchronizing nonlinear vibration generated from an electronic circuit, by impressing an input voltage E<SB>1</SB>to an electrode part including a specimen, in the electronic circuit constituted of an oscillation circuit and the electrode part including a specimen of the chemical substance, a process for measuring an output voltage E<SB>2</SB>output from the electronic circuit, and a process for specifying the kind of the specimen, and for determining the each concentration in the specimen.
