PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the thermally insulating performance of a drawer type freezer compartment around the packing part thereof by arranging a flange part on the front wall upper edge of a storing container and a thermally insulating seal member on the lower surface of a partition member where a door touches. SOLUTION: The front wall a of the storing container 10b of a drawer type freezer compartment 6b is provided with a front wall upper edge flange part b. Thermally insulating members 23 are attached to a partition member 8c putting the upper edge flange part b between them. When a door 3d is opened, the thermally insulating seal members 23 remain around the front surface on the inner surface of the partition member 8c. When the door 3d is closed, the fins of the thermally insulating members 23 seals the front wall upper edge flange part b of the storing container 10b putting it between the fins so that the chilled air flow in the direction of a packing 9c is shut completely and heat intrusion by the contact of the chilled air to the inside surface of the packing 9c of which temperature is higher than those of other parts inside a compartment and the inside surface of the door around it can be reduced drastically. |
