<p>The invention relates to a process of organic tanning of bovine hides characterized by the fact that the bated hides are treated at the room temperature, in a float containing between 1 ... 5 % resorcine, for 1 to 2 h, whereto 2- 10% anodically modified melamine-formaldehyde resin as active substance is added afterwards, anionically modified are acidulatated with formic acid up to float pH ranging from 3 to 5, the bath is heated afterwards up to a temperature ranging from 40 and 50 C, for 1 to 5h. Besides the elimination of chrome pickling operation from hides and effluents resulting from tanning, a stabilization of skin structure, a white colour and a shrinkage temperature, sufficiently high, are ensured in order to allow subsequent mechanical processes.</p> |
