<p>The circuit can act as a starter for two gas discharge lamps (LA1,LA2). The terminals of the lamp electrodes (KL2-1 to KL2-4) are connected to two transformers (TR1,TR2) with a PTC resistor (R1) connected between them. The supply voltage (L,N) is connected to terminals (KL1-1,KL1-2) of a filter with two capacitors (C1,C2) and two coupled coils (FI1). There are connections via diodes (D1-D6) and capacitors (C8,C10) to first (V1) and second (V2) differential transistors. The circuit includes a choke (LD1) for controlling the lamp current. Preheating time may be controlled during starting of the lamps.</p> |
