<p>The invention relates to a position lamp for a vehicle hauled on public roads, by night. According to the invention, the lamp comprises a vertically arranged cylindrical case (1) provided with a squared or rectangular side opening for mounting a door (5) wherein a red warning lens (20) is embedded, the cylinder being provided at its ends with an upper cap (2) and a lower cap (3) to form the lamp body, at the lower part, on the cap (3) being mounted some reflecting mirror strips, an oil vessel (6) having a float (7) with a wick (8) forming the combustion chamber, the lower cap (3) being provided with some resting pins (11) and a number of holes (b) wherethrough the draft required for maintaining a burning flame necessary for lighting is achieved, a smoke flue (8), a linking system (17) for attaching the lamp to the carrying vehicle, an oil reservoir (14) having a supply pipe (15), a dispenser (9) determining the constant level of the fuel, while in the combustion chamber in the case (1), on the upper cap (2), there is mounted a smoke flue (18) and the cap (2) can guide the reflecting mirrors (4) in the upper part.</p> |
