PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid breakage even if external force inducing a prying action is applied since a terminal accommodation section is reinforced by a reinforcement section erected between the terminal accommodation and a hood, and to protect each side piece from the outside and to ensure the smooth opening operation by allowing the reinforcement section to interpose deflection space for allowing the opening operation of each side piece and to be arranged opposite to each side piece. SOLUTION: A male-side housing 10 has the terminal accommodation 13 and the hood 11 one size larger than the terminal accommodation section 13. At the terminal accommodation 13, a retainer attachment hole 19 opens in three directions on the upper surface and both sides. A retainer 50 has a pair of side pieces 53. The pair of side pieces 53 elastically sandwiches both the sides of the terminal accommodation 13, and is inserted into the retainer attachment hole 19 from the upper portion. Each side piece 53 opens, reaches the locking position, and locks a male-side terminal fixture 30 in a falling prevention state. The reinforcement section 14 is erected between the hood 11 and the terminal accommodation 13. The reinforcement section 14 interposes the deflection space S for allowing the opening operation of each side piece 53 between both the sides of the terminal accommodation 13, and is arranged opposite to each side piece 53.
