PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double head side surface milling machine which machines not only both front and rear surfaces of a thin plate-like workpiece but also the end face of the same. SOLUTION: The double head side surface milling machine is formed of a machining stand 2 arranged slidably in a longitudinal direction; first and second machining heads 10 arranged across a sliding location of the machining stand 2 in a manner laterally accessible to/separable from each other; a lower jig 3 arranged on the machining stand 2 for mounting the thin plate-like workpiece thereon; an upper jig 6 for pressing downward the workpiece W mounted to the lower jig 3 from the top; a clamp mechanism formed of a clamp cylinder 5 for vertically moving the upper jig 6; a third machining head 60 arranged at the end of the machining stand 2 so as to move laterally for machining the end face of the workpiece W on the lower jig 3; an end clamper 52 for temporarily securing the end of the workpiece W at a location between the clamp mechanism and the third machining head 60; and an end clamp cylinder 51 for vertically moving the end clamper 52.
