<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for RF output power control of a wireless communication device. <P>SOLUTION: Mainly under different channel environments and transmission states, corresponding RF output power modes are provided and these power modes include a normal power mode and a reduced-power mode. The former outputs a normal RF output power and the latter output a reduced-RF output power. The reduced-RF output power is less than the normal RF output power.
