<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-point video conference system which enables a user to participate in the other video conferences without disconnecting the connection call of a video conference terminal, store the video images and audios of the conference in which the user participates at present, and insert the video and audio contents containing the stored or live video images. <P>SOLUTION: DTMF signals transmitted from a video conference terminal 100-1 participating in the video conference are detected by a DTMF detection unit 203; and the video conference terminal 100-1 is controlled by a control unit 204 on the basis of the detected DTMF detection data, so as to participate in the other video conferences while the connection call is held between the video conference terminal 100-1 and the video conference system. In accordance with notification sent from the control unit 204, a charging information as to the video conference terminal 100-1 made to participate in the other video conferences is computed by a management unit 206, and a charging system 400 is informed of the computed charging information through a network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
