PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a car navigation device capable of guiding a noted place and historic scene or various facilities existing along a route to the destination without requiring a troublesome operation for facility selection to a user. SOLUTION: In this car navigation device, a traveling route to the destination is searched for and the route is guided based on link information of a link connected nodes and connection information between links. A database wherein a facility to be guided during traveling along each link, a guide content and a guide start spot are registered relating with the link is provided. When the own car position agrees with the guide start spot of a facility registered relating with the link during traveling, the guide content of the facility corresponding to the guide start spot is read out from the database, and guidance is performed by a voice, an image or the like.
