<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual brake device that switches between a braking state and a release state using rocking, operates smoothly, and can reduce fall of the braking force when a brake lever is returned. <P>SOLUTION: When the force of the brake lever 20 is eliminated, the braking state where a claw member 40 meshes with a rachet plate 12 is maintained. When the force is eliminated, a power transmission pin 25 moves while engaging with a cam groove 52 of a transmission link member 50 and moves from a force transmission cam groove 53 to a release keeping cam groove 54, the transmission link member 50 rocks to the release state, and the claw member 40 comes into a release energizing state where it is energized in the separation state from the rachet plate 12 while keeping the braking state. Once a force is applied to the brake lever 20 in releasing the braking, the claw member 40 separates from a tooth 12a of the rachet plate 12. Then, when the force is eliminated, the brake lever 20 and an output link member 30 turn in the braking releasing direction to release the braking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
