PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a stator core employing a member having magnetic characteristics adapted on the use of an electric apparatus, e.g. a synchronous machine such as a motor generator or a transformer, and to provide a method for manufacturing the electric apparatus using the method. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a stator core composed of a yoke and teeth by assembling, bonding and laminating electromagnetic steel plates divided into a plurality of pieces, respective parts of the electromagnetic steel plate are grouped by measuring magnetic characteristics, the pieces are cut out from parts belonging the same group of magnetic characteristics, and then the pieces are assembled, bonded and laminated.
