PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical surface motor having a wide operational range and driving with the multiple degree of freedom by a simple arrangement where the number of components is decreased without requiring troublesome machining. SOLUTION: The spherical surface motor comprises a cup-like spherical surface bearing, a rotor core composed of a magnetic body arranged to surround the bearing, a plurality of permanent magnets arranged on the surface of the rotor core, a plurality of yokes composed of magnetic bodies arranged through a predetermined air gap from the permanent magnets, and coils wound around the yokes.
