PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular control device determining whether a traffic congestion occurs, and adequately and automatically starting and stopping the automatic drive according to the traffic congestion without feeling any trouble by a driver by starting and stopping the automatic drive according to the situation of the traffic congestion if the traffic congestion occurs. SOLUTION: The vehicular control device comprises: a traffic determination unit to determine that a traffic congestion occurs; an automatic drive start determination unit to start the automatic drive if the length of a section with the traffic congestion is larger than a predetermined value when a traffic congestion occurs; and an automatic drive stop determination unit to stop the automatic drive when an automatic drive stop condition is satisfied after the automatic drive is started.
