PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type fish trap on whose frame protection members for preventing wear or corrosion are partially disposed at wear or corrosion-generating sites, thereby enabling the large improvement in the durability of the fish trap. SOLUTION: This folding type fish trap 21 manufactured by pivotally attaching bone members 23 to 25 to the upper side of a base frame 22 using metal wire rods in an upward rotatable state to form the frame of the fish trap, spreading a bottom net 27 on the base frame 22, spreading a net 28 along peripheries between the base frame 22 and the bone members 23 placed on one side and between the bone members 23 to 25 so that the net 28 can cover the upper portion of the base frame 22 in a state that the bone members 23 to 25 are disposed at prescribed angles, disposing cylindrical fish-entering routes 29 at the proper positions of the net 28, and attaching stopping hooks 30 for stopping the bone members 25 fallen on the base frame 22, is characterized by attaching protection members 35 for preventing wear and corrosion at both the side sites pivotally attached to the bone members 23 to 25 in the base frame 22, at the stopping hook 30-attached site for the base frame 22 and the bone member 25 and at the site for holding the stopping hook 30 to prevent the wear and corrosion of the sites.
