ANTIREFLECTIVE POLARIZING PLATE, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD AND IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS USING THE PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate which has a uniform color in the face, excellent neutral property and excellent durability and no imprinting of outer light even when a display environment changes and to provide an image display apparatus using the same.

SOLUTION: The polarizing plate is constituted by providing a cellulose acylate film as a protection film on both sides of a polarizing film formed of a polyvinyl alcohol-based film and further providing an antireflective film of multilayer structure on one side of the cellulose acylate film by painting. Prescribed retardation values Re, Rth of the cellulose acylate film are within a prescribed range of humidity dependence.
