摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch, a display device, and so on using a flexible raw material. <P>SOLUTION: A cellulose sheet containing Hoya cellulose is interposed between flexible transparent polymer films with transparent electrodes formed thereon and subsequently the cellulose sheet is impregnated with a liquid crystal and interposed between polarizers. Also the transparent polymer film contains fibers derived from the Hoya cellulose. A mixed material composed of Hoya cellulose and a bacteria cellulose (nata de coco etc.) or further another mixed material containing a filament cellulose of botanical origin, a polysaccharide of Abelmoschus manihot Abelmoschus origin, or a polysaccharide of Hydrangeapaniculata origin is optionally used as a material for the cellulose sheet or for the transparent polymer film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
