This invention provides a new structure for accommodating passengers in aircraft with particular attention paid to the need to sleep comfortably on long flights, the need for independent access to all service facilities without being encumbered by other passengers, easy and stress-free terminal arrangements for commencing/terminating journeys, and the need for safety while both travelling in the aircraft and under crises. The invention facilitates greater utilization of aircraft and airport facilities.
