<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic watt-hour meter which can express over the upper limit of the watt-hour data without being limited by the display function even when the number of digits exceeds the displayable number of digits of a liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic watt-hour meter displays the measured value if it is lower than the displayable digits of the liquid crystal display, if it exceeds the displayable digits, the watt-hours are reset to zero, and at the same time the number of reset time is counted and displayed on the screen separately.
