PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate road surface reaction force torque on a highμroad/lowμroad and to perform traveling condition control using the road surface reaction force torque estimation value. SOLUTION: Even when a constant is not optimum when a steering shaft reaction force torque signal is subjected to low pass filter processing, the road surface reaction force torque estimation value is corrected based on actual friction torque and estimated friction torque and the whole area road surface reaction force torque estimation value is outputted.
