ROLLING BEARING UNIT WITH SEALING UNIT AND ROLLING BEARING WITH SEALING PLATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a longer life of a bearing by applying rustproof measures on a seal lip sliding surface and its vicinity. SOLUTION: In the sealing unit 14a (namely, a pack seal) shown by a dotted line(a broken line), surface treatment with corrosion-resistant and anticorrosive capability is applied on a metallic surface of a slinger 16 sliding with seal lips 22-24, and the same surface treatment is also applied on metallic surfaces of neighboring components (such as an outer ring 1 and an inner ring element 5) mounting the sealing unit 14a. In the sealing unit 14b such as (a three-piece lip seal), surface treatment with corrosion-resistant and anticorrosive capability is applied on metallic surfaces of intermediate outer peripheral surfaces of a mounting flange 9 and a hub body 4 which bring into slide contact with seal lips 29-31, and the same surface treatment is also applied on neighboring components (such as the outer ring 1 and hub body 4, for instance) mounting the sealing unit 14b.
