<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a ball screw in an outside side direction of a raceway rail in parallel to lower the entire height, and to easily perform attachment/detachment by easily changing specifications of the ball screw. <P>SOLUTION: In this slide device, the ball screw 3 is arranged outside the raceway rail 2 in parallel, and the slide device comprises a ball screw shaft 7 rotatably journaled by screw shaft support bodies 8, 9 which are mounted on the raceway rail 2 and a ball screw nut 6 mounted on a slide table 4.
